Tricky thing with this is that YUL has exclusivity on transborder/international flights. So they'd still need to hub at YOW especially in the winter. And in interviews I've listened to or read, Porter seems happy with YOW's overall performance.
Bummer! The only time I find myself on non-AC flights so far is the Caribbean and instances where AC doesn't offer direct options (once in Canada for the last 7 years). Even with AC, half of my Caribbean flights connect in YUL because its $100-200 cheaper.
If YHU doesnt have it.. then I dont see how/why I would move to porter.
