No, that's not normal.

All of the longer Hawaii-mainland flights (to DEN/IAH/ORD/IAD/EWR) are supposed to have a full breakfast pre-arrival service. Even the much shorter Hawaii-West Coast redeyes serve a warmed breakfast pastry before landing.
