You're right. This sounds like something that isn't supposed to happen. So if someone from Air NZ is watching and does feed that back. It's getting shut down.

I don't know if anyone from a relevant department within Air NZ does actually watch this forum. But people know people and things can get passed back eventually to the relevant people and then your loophole is gone.

Unfortunately I don't find FT conducive to encouraging meet ups outside this FT board. I love the idea of it but taking that next step seems like a big jump... for me at least. I have found that joining the QF FB plat group has been good and have pencilled in attending a meet up. But there is no FB group for Air NZ or kiwi travellers. Or its full of infrequent flyers which is ok I don't mind helping out there but sometimes you want to talk to someone with experience. The other Air NZ FB group is a massive complaints group by people who don't read T&Cs or understand much about airlines... actually that's not always true there are some valid complaints in there that Air NZ could improve on. But it's a reasonably biased group. FB would be more fun as there is much more to travel than what we're allowed to discuss on the Air NZ FT board. I'm aware I can go to some other section for tech or hotels etc but it's not the same when you're looking at people post about stuff they have access to in different countries that we don't have easy access to in NZ. Yes you can travel and go get it but ... it's nice to talk with people that have access to the same stuff as you. I've thought about starting up a group but the thought of moderating and dealing with spam bots sounds like a PITA and I definitely couldn't do it on my own. I do have a life outside of this I swear. Anyway... back to usual programming...
Yes. I was cautious of that. I did plan to delete it at some point, just thought I'd share it. I edited my message. It's a gem.
