Just a word of warning for those flying out of CVG -- the parking lot garage has been downsized due to all of the ongoing maintenance. Arrived earlier this week to find that the garage was full and blocked off by a truck. No notice on any signs leading to the airport. Since I usually only arrive about 45 minutes before my flight, I had the choice of parking in the economy lots and potentially missing my flight or paying extra to valet. Not a good look for CVG. DAY is so much easier.
Major pain in the fanny the last few months. It looks like they are re painting the parking lines a block at a time and it is shutting down large sections of the parking lot. Ive never seen to garage full and shut down, but I am usually on a 600 am ish flight out each week so its not too bad then. I judge by what level I park on. If I can find a close B level its a good day. If I can find a C level spotot not all the way at the far end, its a good day. If I have to go up to D something has gone terribly wrong
Hope the re painting is done soon. They may also be putting sensors in the ground on each spot show if its open or occupied. Ive noticed little discs in each spot.
