Luckily (rightly) QF didn't have any issue with changing a number of flights on my exCAI DONEx to past 1 year of the issuing date; the last flight will be something like 14 months after the ticketing date.
Disclaimer: This was only changes in the dates of the flights, routing remained the same, and since I've already started the ticket, no repricing or change fee was needed. No idea how they would have handled route changes.
That's a good data point. Earlier on when the ex-CAI frenzy was happening, they were telling people it's 1 year from ticketing, despite the xONEx rules saying differently. I reckon you may be the first to have actually tried it post ticketing.
