Just stopping by this thread to see if there are any further updates.
The denial of MH pax has been reported in several locations (FT, MH FB's groups and in the comments of an article on the Mile Lion blog.

If the lounge is expected to full then I can understand the position that QF takes.
I last used the lounge on 9 May when flying on MH (Y) departing on MH608 departing at 18:15 without issue. The lounge did get busier at 17:00 but wasn't full.
