Booking the same reservation over Avis iPhone App did not give this error, so the issue resides on their webpage side.
Yes, I just had this exact situation a moment ago on the web through my phone, but the app (Android) was fine.
Question: Were you picking up and returning to the same location? I'm doing a one-way rental from a regional airport location, so I thought the glitch might have been related to my slightly unusual request.
