This may (or may not be) the appropriate place to add my two cents worth of information but.....Alaskan Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are planning a merger and Alaskan appears
to be the surviving company (2023-Dec-03), Alaskan uses all Boeing aircraft and will probably wanting to replace Hawaiians fleet of 24 A330-200 aircraft fairly soon. These aircraft
were built between 2010 and 2017 and are RR Trent engine equipped which Delta has 11, but are Pratt and Whitney engine-d. If DL still plans to keep their -200's around for a while,
24 more (even with different engines) might be gotten at a very good sale price. Also, there would then be enough to replace any (or all) of the current B767-300ER's, what Delta
expects to keep active. Delta will probably be removing 8 to 12 of it older 763's (that are currently being used exclusively on domestic routes) with the up and coming A321-200neo's
with the "trans-con" interiors (all 4 seat groups) - they will have around 170 seats (current A32N's have 190+ seats). With Delta wanting Boeings NMA aircraft to be the B763's
replacements - which won't happen any time soon - this might look like a fine alternative.
(and only 3 seat groups).
