I posted that 17 days ago. Obviously the promised check never was received, so I called again today. Had
extreme trouble understanding the foreign phone rep (he asked for what sounded like my "data bug", he had to repeat himself the better part of a dozen times before I finally realized he was asking for my "date of birth", ugh). They essentially refused to tell me anything new about the closed account and acted like they had no record of my call to them on Nov 3. They said a ONE rep would contact me via either email or phone within 5 days to tell me how my funds would be sent to me. Yeah, sure.
I'm 99.9% sure this won't be resolved without reaching out to the CFPB.
