I thought that you can't extend your status below Diamond? If you need 100k to extend the status you must have had more then these 100K in your account at the end of this year. Early january DL would subtract 125.000 of those MQM's for your 2024 Diamond status, if you then have at least another 100k left you can extend that diamond status into 2025. So my unsterstanding is that you need a least 225.000 MQM's by december 31st to use this feature.
Edit: wrong, there might be a situation where somebody sits on lets say 200K MQM's by the end of the year but only meet the MQD's for platinum. So he would loose 75K MQM's and might have enough to extend that status for 2025.
