Call Amex or use the chat function. My husband asked a couple of months ago if he could have a cancelled card reinstated, and they said yes, and were in the process of doing that but apparently he waited too long and they were unable. So there is a process for that, if you’re not too late. Bet they’re getting a lot of calls now.
