I'm going qualify for 2024 diamond and on top of that, I'll rollover more than 700,000 MQMs. So, that means a 7 year extension of my DM status. I am *very* happy!
If I were you I'd calculate when I'll hit lifetime Diamond via MM and only extend my Diamond status by that number of years (with some cushion) and convert the rest to miles.
