I believe UA only counted BIS miles on UA metal (though pre-merger CO members were credited more favorably).
DL is in the middle, basing on MQM - so includes cabin bonuses and partner travel but not elite bonuses or CC spend.
So DL is definitely being generous by skewing toward UA's program, although I'd point out that UA Gold gets E+ at booking (as does AA Plat, which is second level, now at 2MM), while DL Gold does not.
Where have you seen MM will be based on MQMs as they are going away, aren't they? "
Beginning January 1, 2024, Million Miler Status will be earned via flight miles flown (excluding Basic Economy fares) and added to your total Million Miler balance. Any MQMs already earned toward Million Miler Status will remain." Quote about MQMs : "MQMs and MQM Rollover will be departing at the end of 2023"
