The short answer is: no one knows. DL either:
  • is scared for another blowback if they screw up
  • have not figured out a way to not sabotage their relationship further with Amex
  • will not make significant rollbacks anyway

My hunch is “All of the above”. The wait continues…but don’t hold your breath.

I’m NYC based, and already exploring AA/BA for some of my international trips in 2024.
