I began working on my late summer schedule this week. I am consistently seeing 2A and 2F as unavailable on all flights; LAX/SFO <--> EWR/JFK. I assume this is 'step 1' of this change. Like you, I have not flown without my child for 10+ years and he only occasionally qualifies for Mosaic, so this perk in particular is no benefit to me.
