Here's the thing. I was rebooked on AA. Asked the agent if he can put in my AA FF#. However, agent said if he did that , I wouldn't be able to earn miles on DL. I went for the AA# anyway inin order to receive Gold benefits.

Sorry for being so verbose, but I just wanted to tell the full story to indicate the agent seemed to know what he was doing. Is the agent correct or can I still get ORC with Skymiles? (AA miles have already posted.)
it’s been years since I’ve double dipped, but I have. I did wait until I got to the UA gate to put in the UA ff number, though.
