Something that has bugged me about Delta for a long time is how they address people. Over 35 years ago I worked on a customer relations system and we had a place to enter how people wanted to be addressed. "Dr William Robert Jones" might be "Dr Jones" or "Billy Bob" or even just "Doc" or "Colonel" because he once was one. Since they required the names on our profile match passports it has gotten ridiculous. I never use my formal first name -- and my brother uses his middle name and we both find the way we are addressed on the phone to be irritating. And it didn't used to bother me so much, but now that I am an Old Fart™ I would rather be addressed as "Mr Brewer" and let me say "call me X"

All it would take would be a simple field that I COULD ENTER on the profile. In addition to on the phone, the FAs could use on their devices as well.

Rant off
