Some of this might depend on what your plans are for the trip. If you want to spend more time in Centro then I'd suggest just staying in that area. Even though Polanco is not too far, it's still a little inconvenient, especially during high traffic times.

The HR is pretty ideal if you want just cool spots for dining, art and history museums and Chapultepec park.
