I sent you a private message containing an Airbnb that’s excellent. If you want to stay in a hotel, with safety and the kids in mind, I recommend the Promenade Palladium (best neighborhood but no recreation), the Sheraton (good recreation but requires transportation), the Hyatt (good recreation but far from everything), and lastly the Fairmont and the Copacabana Palace which are excellent but the neighborhood is run down.

I think the main attraction for the kids will be playing on the beach or the pool, the views on Sugarloaf mountain and Corcovado are breathtaking, but I don’t think the kids will like it as much as the adults.
