Obviously you know the government cares naught for individual people by now, if you've been there for a while. This is nothing new, and in line with everything the Chinese government stands for.
I saw one poster who said wife stayed behind cause of work. Why? Why would you? So what about work?
I haven't gotten out but have returned to China just over 4 weeks ago, finished my quarrantine last Saturday...Why the hell would you do that you may ask, well I don't work over here but I'm married to a chinese lady who could not accompany me on my trip back to the UK due to the policy of not renewing her passport....For me, not returning was never an option, pointless being married if your not living together and whether it's good or bad times to come I will stay here till she can leave......
