Well, the exact same thing happened to me yesterday. 182,000 miles gone. I couldn’t rebook because there is zero F award availability between FRA and the US for the next year, so canceling was the only option. Miles disappeared a few minutes later. Speechless.
Does anyone have a way for me to reach M&M via email or snail mail? I can't find any option other than a phone number which has proven useless.
