If the walk is too long you can always take the bus airside from the very beginning to the very far end.
Is the station at the end of the concourse operating again? In my July trip with a T4>T2 connection, I arrived at B39 or 41, followed the signs to the jitney station down by B54/55 just to see the sign that said it wasn’t operating. Sure enjoyed that double back walk all they way to the front of the terminal.
