Flew D1 today LAS-ATL. Asked for the "Crave" box (aka Sometimes Salami). "I'm sorry, I'm out of those." Me, laughing, "I'm in the fourth seat, how can you already be out?" "They only gave us one and someone already took it."
Oy vey.
Also of note, about 70 minutes into the flight, I asked a passing FA if they were serving alcohol on this flight, as no one had asked if we wanted drinks. The old Delta would have been conciliatory. The new rhythm with FAs - hanging out in the galley for 70 percent of the flight - meant I got a response of, "Red, white or beer?"
