By way of an update, I've heard from IAD that AF currently projects full service for the foreseeable future between there and Paris. There is no guarantee it will continue beyond the month of February, but equally no indication it will cease. The current service includes all classes (e.g., P). My contact repeated that AF from the IAD side would likely board someone with legal, primary residence in France (irrespective of nationality) but notes that all problems at this stage seem to be on the French side in terms of outbound travel. Getting on a plane at CDG and flying out to a non-EEA destination like IAD is more problematic, something the GOF is discouraging, and beyond the scope of advice anyone outside France can render. The risk, according to my contact and as we all know, is finding oneself in limbo with the ever-changing rules.
