So I'm a SE100K, earned it in 2019, and had it in 2020 and renewed it to 2021. That's all well and good. I flew about 40 flights last year and have enough to gift a family member E35K then correct...?

Apologies if there is already a thread on this - I looked and didn't find anything.

Anyone know anything about getting an email allowing us to gift our 'earned' 2020 status? Or do you think that will come in the next month or so since they will close and tabulate the final 2020 AQM/AQS in the next bit?

What's everyone's thoughts?

Not 100% sure what you're asking, but I'll give it a go...
First off, SEs are able to gift E50K status for a benefit year. Gifting benefit year E35K is afforded to E75Ks.
If you're referring to selecting your 2020 select privilege benefits for the 2020 benefit year, which includes the option of gifting E50K status... that ship has sailed. If you didn't select your 2020 benefits by now then it was already selected for you.

If you are referring to 2021 benefits, then that thread is here:
2021 AC Status Privileges

We are now able to select our 2021 benefits once you log into your account. You don't need to wait for an email, and AFAIK, I never got an email to do so. It's been like that basically every year where we can go in and select our benefits before (or if any) email gets sent out. AC tends to be super late on sending such emails and we've learned here never to wait for their late emails.

Btw, something I learned here recently... the benefit year is now the same as the calendar year starting for the 2021 benefit year.
