BNA is a good candidate for ORD and IAH and Southwest already has point of sale strength in Nashville.

The downside though is a high value Southwest customer that would have flown BNA-MDW elects to take BNA-ORD, or BNA-HOU to BNA-IAH, and the frequency is split between two airports that would have otherwise been consolidated at one. When that high value customer wants to return home, rather than catch the next or earlier flight out than the one originally purchased, it's really not ideal with the flights out of different airports while neither has great frequency.

I assume United will still keep a better frequency than Southwest on a route like BNA-IAH that United is still preferable for that airport pair.
