At some point your flight will be changed from an A380 to either a 777 or A350. AF is retiring all of their A380s. I had some flights later in the year on the A380 on which I could not select seats in J at all. Delta finally added ATL-CDG flights on their metal so I switched to DL metal avoid dealing with AF plane swaps.
