AF A380 seat purchase not going through?

ON 6/17 I booked mileage tickets from ATL to Lisbon in coach on the a380-800 upper deck economy for my wife and I. Picked seats 92K and L with an upcharge for my wife of $42 paid for with my Delta AE Platinum Card. Tickets went through with the taxes on my card, her seat is showing not assigned and the charge is pending on my AE? IS this an AF issue? All the other requested seats are in the system?
Thx

At some point your flight will be changed from an A380 to either a 777 or A350. AF is retiring all of their A380s. I had some flights later in the year on the A380 on which I could not select seats in J at all. Delta finally added ATL-CDG flights on their metal so I switched to DL metal avoid dealing with AF plane swaps.

Wow the 380 sure didn't last that long over at AF.

Took AF ATL-CDG last year - had first row of J upstairs. Not comfortable at all.

Well, I can say I did it.

I wonder if Delta will let me make the change to the A350 now so I can get decent seats?

Depends when you are planning to fly.

AF has just updated their July/Aug schedules; ATL-CDG is just 1x a day on the A350. Beyond August, the schedule isn't finalised/reliable at this point. DL also flies 1x/day on their metal. But like the others said, the A380 is gone at AF.

Soon enough, you'll probably be able to buy A380 seats from AF... to take home.

I would expect the 380 to be replaced with the 350 as it has been for July and August. This is what happened to my flights.

Well I guess either the 787 or A350 for my flight. I'm guessing the A350 as ATL CDG is usually a pretty loaded route.

If it's heavily loaded it'll be the 77W with the BEST cabine (refreshed).

Unfortunately, OP is flying in Y and pretty much all options are worse than the A380 in Y. AF 77W is 10 across in Y (vs 9 on the retiring DL 777), and the A350 and 787 are 9 across on planes that should really be 8 across. At least the humidity is better on those two I guess...

AF sometimes sells pretty cheap upgrades to Premium Economy which on the A350 is quite decent and there is even a lavatory reserved for this class.
