Thanks OP for bringing back a good memory of Ansett. I remember how excited I was when Ansett joined Star Alliance in 1999. UA had a great relationship with Ansett at the time.

Did Ansett have 747-300s? That looks like one in the pic, but it has 744 engines.
Ansett did operate three 747-300s, but it also have two leased 747-400 from SQ for a period of time.
