I fervently hope that EF doesn't prioritize a "modern" looking web interface and risk worsening the functionality and usability. See, as a cautionary note, how much Hilton people detest Hilton's new web interface:

It's a work in progress so there is an opportunity to give us feedback to shape the final product. Instead of being negative before you see what it is you should sign up for the beta.
