As useful as many East/South Asian languages might be, I think most sound best on mute. Korean (at least those in the south) might be the “whiniest” one I’ve encountered. In the north, there’s more pride in speaking it...

OTOH, cursing in Cantonese is a blast, and I partially have Stephen Chow to thank.
