Got some sandpaper, and filed it down slightly so that it fits in my 11 Pro. Put the sim in, and when it connected, among other things it gave me a "local" US number. I didn't do anything special, but I have a florida number on it for the moment. No idea what the rates are.
This links to the Lycamobile US rates, I have no clue as to how the US number will work but I thought I had read somewhere that you can still get a local number but you cannot retain it for any great period of time. But I am done with them now and good riddance. Good luck with it.
