Similarly my cocktail of choice is a gin and tonic, and for my initial service I ask if I can have 2 bottles, the can and an extra cup of ice. That way I don’t have to bother the FA , or wait for the refill which usually has a longer interval after first service because of food and all that . I ALWAYS do this. Sure enough. I got this spiel in September, albeit more informal with the FA obliging, but telling me not to tell anyone because they are not supposed to. I think I was in PS.
