My GV number is a cell phone number that I've had for 22 years. Sometimes I port it back out to use on a SIM, and sometimes I keep it in Google. I haven't noticed any difference in functionally, and I'm curious as to how any system could identify VoIP because they aren't able to see what happens after they pass off or before they receive data.
