No, but a carrier does need a decent volume of traffic ti justify a club and AA gave up on DTW long ago. After Delta, the biggest operating carriers at DTW are Skywest, Spirit, Endeavor, and Southwest. AA and its RJ carriers get dumped into the less-than-20% 'other'.
