The OP may bear a loss, but ultimately, also according to your own remark of French way of vivre
I certainly do not think that my post pretended to educate anyone, and I fail to see what's was related to French savoir faire or way of vivre in my comment about behavior of mid-range Accor hotels in France.

It's certainly not as simple as that. Plenty of Accor hotels in France are doing a great job. You mention Hilton : there are tons of very bad Hiltons, especially in their domestic market (USA). The same can be said with every hotel chain. Where Accor is significantly failing IMO compared to other chain is the compliance with their rules and LCAH : hotels are never (or so rarely) sanctioned in case of non-compliance so the development of a "do-not-care" attitude with some of them. There are also historical reasons : France being the initial market of the group (everything started there), some franchisés have specific contracts inherited from that period which give them likely more power and freedom. But that's not an excuse and Accor should be stronger with those.

I fully agree with those 2 statements.
