It's nice to see here (and read in various sources) about relative stability and normality returning to Iraq, after such a long period of chaos and violence.
So where's next on your list of exotic places to visit?
Thank you, mad_atta. Yes, the south is relatively safe at the moment, apart from the odd bombing, and even those seem to be reducing in frequency. Next TR is to the little 'country' of Transnistria.

Unfortunately, when we hear of Iraq, we only hear about the conflicts. In reality, the country has an amazingly rich history, and we got to experience that a bit through your eyes. Thanks!
Many thanks, isaifan. There has been alot of turmoil over the last 15+ years but hopefully things settle down now with some relative normalcy returning.

How did you find the security over there? Did you feel unsafe at all?
Thanks, nequine. It felt a little tense in the north near Samarra with the milita's in control etc., but south of Baghdad felt relatively benign.
