I've heard a lot of rumors about property buys out by IAD, but would be quite surprised if Amazon chose the far outer suburbs over Arlington; current trends are companies moving back into the cities, not out.
To keep on topic, maybe NYC's loss eventually becomes WAS's gain, though I doubt it.
