Just an example you can dummy book PDX-LAX on April 10th and the first flight shows this seat map.

No, they're not. -900s have 16 F. -800s have 12 F.

It's probably a dummy configuration because they don't know if a -800, -900 or -700 is actually flying the route five and a half months out. This way you don't sell 13 F on a plane with only 12F.
