I am curious to understand what are the benefits you get from tipping the housekeeping staff? Apart of course from the feel good factor of tipping the otherwise "transparent" staff.
I get to go through the rest of my day knowing I let someone with an unappreciated job know they were appreciated, or at least that I am not a cheapskate.
I'm curious to know why you care what total strangers leave housekeeping, are there not enough tipping debate threads on the internet?
