I have a friend who was a PanAm flight attendant on long haul flights. She would routinely dump Benedryl in the drinks of unruly kids and other passengers.

I bet once they get close to 2 years old they would have to produce a birth certificate in order to not be charged $4990 for a cross country flight.

Yeah, well...they're not exactly checking driver's licenses.
In any event, I wouldn't care as long as the kid was actually a "lap" child, and not set loose to run around the plane.
