FWIW, I had a similar situation late last year, no ghost map, phone agents and DeltaAssist swearing up and down it was coded correctly. I was worried, based on everything I'd read here, but I did get the upgrade at T-5d (for SFO-JFK). So I think unfortunately it's hard to know for sure.
