FWIW, I find the most efficient ticket issuers are airport desks - those guys and girls can work magic (10 minutes to construct a new itinerary with new tickets combined with partially used coupons on an old ticket as well as class changes and mileage upgrade preserved, as well as correct change fee!)
funny, last week at the airport, they told me I should call SW for a mileage upgrade, because they do not know how to do it
at least you can do the HUAC game a few times on the phone, ha.
