Rented twice from LAX now, generally good experiences. First time I rented PCAR and upgraded to an SRX (no status at the time, probably because they lack PCAR), second time PFAR and got an SRX again. The second time they dispatched a limo to pick me up from the airport which was a nice plus. Renaissance shuttle isn't too bad, but they are small shuttles and once a couple of us had to stand because they had no space to sit.

Then again I did reservce again LCAR, and from what I've been reading and researching, I might not get LCAR. Typically does this location run out of cars quickly? Will I have a problem upgrading to any class higher then LCAR if they do not have any car avilable?
That's funny because I rented an LCAR at MIA and the rep said "because you're platinum, I can offer you an upgrade for a total of $300 more".
Instead I received an ATS because apparently they didn't have anything else available in that class.
