I flew on an unnamed carrier where the ice-cream served was a single scope in what looked like plastic specimen tub. Certainly not appealing.

I do not mind ice-cream in the paper tubs, that is far better than scopes of ice-cream in bowls that has dried out due to the (re)freezing process, leaving ice without the cream.
