Well if I'm not mistaken the "delta region" refers to a couple states around Alabama, correct? Fred Meyer is in the PNW...

I'm just happy that this was kind of a hoax but then again I'm not surprised that cashiers take it for face value as they have most likely been instructed by their supervisors about the cash only thing. It'll be hard to convince them otherwise unless corporate instructs the chain of command to do so.
