Just happened to me @ two Grocery Stores (Names Edited per Suggestion)

Edit: I tried a debit transaction to buy items at another store and it worked. I guess its not the PIN.
Used both a US Bank visa gift card and a OV visa gift card at the store that is the subject of this thread to buy you-know-what's, so MSing appears alive and well.
