I prefer younger cashiers too, they've grown up in an "all electronic" society. I think it's less weird for them to see someone pay for everything with a swipe vs. using cash. Plus less life experience = less suspicious. (That's my take, anyways...)

I've found younger cashiers, regardless of gender, are more easy to deal with for MS. Although I've had one or two who just couldn't be bothered to figure out how to load something and sent me to CS desk
