1) Show me the policy and/or law about the hot beverages. I don't care that you think it's common place with "airlines around the world". Show me the policy and or law. I have googled it, for your convenience, just above this post....voila....no such thing.

2) "Gets away with"? Huh? What am I getting away with exactly? Use of the "overhead bins" (or attempted use)? Carrying on a carry on? Wow, not sure of your understanding of the term "getting away with" but here in the US, it usually means pulling off a scam.

3) It's called a carry on for a reason. It's to be carried on. Look it up.

4) Finally, arbitrary and capricious behavior is what it is. RIDICULOUS. (Note the caps for emphasis).

So, that's how I started this thread, and that's how I'll end it. Unfortunately my opinion of the policies, practices, and support thereof, has only gone downhill quickly and any defense of said nonsense have been completely and comprehensively unsupported.
