And, I believe, if it's scheduled to depart by midnight, but gets delayed until after, this will still hold, but not 100% sure on this. Certainly can be done with a call in this case if the miles are needed for status.

That sounds right as the date that posts on the mileage statement is the scheduled one and not the actual.
